Part-time Housekeeper – Surrey

Part-time Housekeeper required for a family of 5 in Claygate/Esher, in Surrey.  Our ideal candidate will be local to this area and available 3 afternoons per week for 4 hours a day.  The principal has 3 children and a dog although the oldest child will be leaving for university shortly.  You will be required on occasions, to collect the 12-year-old daughter from school.  A driving license and own vehicle is an absolute must.  You will be reimbursed for your mileage and travelling expenses.  The key to working well with this family is your ability to be friendly, good with children, kind, and flexible.  A competitive rate of pay is being offered for the right candidate.  The first interview will be by telephone.  They are looking to fill this vacancy by no later than 18th September 2021.

 

Travelling Private Chef – London and beyond

 We have a new position available for an exceptional Private Chef willing to travel extensively with the principal. Our client is an author and biographer who travels for a minimum of 6 months of the year.  Your trial would begin in London in mid-September, at our client’s residence in Notting Hill.  You would then be required to travel with him to any destination whilst creating the most sumptuous of culinary dishes for him and his guests.  An amazing opportunity for a flexible and adventurous candidate who is used to working with local, seasonal produce and who can cook the principal’s favourite dish of beef rendang.

Private Chef – Castle in Whitby, North Yorkshire

 Yorkshire home of a Marquis & Marchioness. We are recruiting an imaginative & versatile Chef who can shift effortlessly between informal and formal dining, drawing on a variety of classic and healthy cuisines. The role is particularly interesting and includes working with the Head Gardener on the development and utilisation of the Kitchen Garden and using local ingredients.  We are seeking an ambitious and experienced Chef to prepare all meals for the family whilst in residence in Yorkshire and for dining when in London. The candidate must be passionate about cooking, including the use of and butchering of game. The chef will ensure that the highest standards of food, service and quality are maintained and attention to detail is key. The family require a multitude of dietary preferences for the variety of guests received at the Castle.
